Little jellybean kept the “R”  family birthday chain intact for April.  Remember this session?  We were hoping she would come when it would be convenient for everyone to make it to her world debut but she had her own plans.  She really kept us on our toes and had us praying to either come or not come every other day it seemed.  Jellybean was her name given by her big brother while in her mama’s belly.   Only her mom, dad and big sister knew what her real name would be.

All signs seemed like she would come any day but nope she waited until April 30th at 11:53pm to bless us with her presence.  Seven more minutes and should would have been a May baby.   I got the call that it was time and she made sure that she would let her mom and dad barely make it to the hospital with their super midwife waiting for their arrival to deliver.  I made it about an hour after the call and as I got closer to the room I heard her crying and knew she was already here.  I entered and there she was crying nice and loud.  I was told she was born 10 minutes after they got there and so I knew I had no chance.  We kinda all knew it was going to be a pretty quick birth…I didn’t feel so bad when I knew her grandmother and aunt missed it as well.

I still felt the same overwhelming excitement when I saw her for the first time.   I still teared up and could still feel the love in the room.  I figured her story is good enough to have etched in our minds.  I’m sure her mama will definitely be able to remember the details leading up to her birth.

Congrats “R” family and thank you so much for having me there for your special delivery!  Can’t wait to see all of her chubbiness and gorgeous hair again!

LOVE how “M’s” mom still gives her that mother’s touch as she looks on at her new granddaughter.Mulitasking professional

Oh Kathy! How awesome are these photos!? Did you know I photographed Emma’s birth, all those years ago?? They were such horrible photos, but I was so thrilled to be there, and to be part of the “celebration”…
You are totally amazing at what you do, these photos took my breath away.
    Hugs to you!

Thank you, Jessica! I don’t think I knew that. I knew you shot Jen’s Emma. It is very exciting and fills you up with such happiness instantly! Forget excercise to lift your mood go be part of a birth!
